Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 2 weeks)
The interview process at Sard Verbinnen was pretty straightforward. I went into the office and interviewed with 2-3 people at a time. I was there for about 3 hours or so. The employees seemed friendly, but asked probing questions that really tried to get at the heart of why I was there. They also seemed more interested in finding out not just about my skills set, but also my personality (more so than at a lot of other interviews).
The second round consisted of a writing test, which I had 48 hours to complete, and was followed by a phone discussion with 2 more employees.

Interviewed Feb 2008 in New York, NY (took 3 weeks)
Initial communication was through email; I sent a Resume and CV. Then, I went through a phone interview. It was a 20 minute call. About a week later, I received another call, asking me if I could interview in their NYC office. The NYC interview was very relaxed and fit-focused. The interviewers were great, and it was not surprising that the firm as a whole had an outstanding culture.
