I applied online - interviewed at Satterfield & Pontikes in August 2012.

    Interview Details

I applied online on the company website. I got a call from HR within few days for a phone interview with the chief Estimator. The interview was very short and easy. They said they will let me know in couple of weeks. I did not hear from them for 3 weeks and when I emailed the HR again, and they replied saying I am thru the next step and they will schedule a personal interview soon.

I did not hear from the HR for another couple of weeks and when I called them again, they said they hired some one else.

After 2 months I got a call to schedule an interview in their Houston office.
The interview went really well. I interviewed with Chief Estimator and a Sr. Estimator.
Questions were based on my experience and education.

I applied through college or university. The process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Satterfield & Pontikes.

    Interview Details

Interview process was very laid back. They brought me out to the jobsite and explained the progress of the job and where they were at. As long as you asked questions about the company, they would take off and talk the majority of the time

    Interview Questions
    • There were no difficult questions that are in most interviews. They wanted to know if you are a good fit for the company and that you are willing to learn.   Answer Question

I applied in-person. The process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Satterfield & Pontikes in January 2010.

    Interview Details

Interview process was misleading. The company was described as a forward thinking company and showed alot of bells and whistles. However, once you were sucked in and signed up the hammer fell and the true colors were exposed.
