Interviewed Jan 2008 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took 3 days)
Intial call from Talent acquistion followed up by 2 phone interviews with HR and Competency team.
This was followed up with a 1:1 interview with the hiring manager for this role. From intial call to negotiation took 3 weeks, following which an offer was made. A straightforward process without undue complications.

Interviewed Sep 2009 (took a day)
I received 2 interviews both seemed to go very well and the nothing...calls not returned, no one calls me, after leading e to think an offer was coming.. what a strange company. The other interesting thing was that the last person I spoke with said that the next person I would be speaking with would be the hiring manager, the point of the conversation was simply to discuss salary and benefits and such, one would be led to believe at that point that it was a done deal. However, that person never called e and when I tried to call the other two my calls were never returned overall very strange, regardless I had two following interviews, one I locked up with a proposal due to them about the costs etc to do the work and the other a longer term contract.

Interviewed Jul 2008 (took 5 weeks)
I was contacted by a recruiter to interview for a middle management position at Satyam. I had several telephonic rounds of interviews, and finally an in-person interview. The interviews were mostly smooth. However, when it came to the HR for the final rounds for the offer/negotiations, thats when it went cold. I asked a few questions related to their offer and there was no response after that. Probably, it was tied to the problems that the company started encountering at that time. I have interviewed with a few Indian companies, and typically, the skill interviews go well. But when it comes to HR, the professionalism seems to be lacking a bit.
