Interviewed Apr 2011 (took a day)
Position was a director level position. Was called by the VP Sales for a phone interview and then asked to come in for a personal interview. During the interview he said, "we have multiple positions available" and then proceeded to try ask me questions about a lower paying job with less responsibility. "How many phone calls can you make in a day?" for instance. I then interviewed with the CMO. Total interview time between both was 45 minutes. I knew when I left they were trying to hire a heavily experienced person for little or no money in a position that didn't need a lot of experience so there would be no learning curve for the new hire. I never heard back from them.
A few months go by and I get a call from one of their HR managers who tells me I'm a perfect fit for the position. I tell her about what I just wrote in the first paragraph and she checks with both interviewers to confirm. She actually called me back to explain that they didn't move forward because I would of needed to give a 30 day notice at my current job. Then she asked me what I needed to make and I told her the job application said the range was 80k - 120k and I said 80k.
The HR manager told me that the range was a combination of base and bonus and what was I currently making. I told her my base was 60k currently and then never heard from her or that company again.
I saw the position relisted for several months on Careerbuilder or Monster so it only led me to believe they were doing a "bait and switch" on the job (which never existed in the first place) to try to hire top people and shoehorning them into jobs paying 1/3rd as much as advertised.

Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 2 days)
Saveology failed in making good impression during the interview process. Interviewer was late and did not offer any apology. Interviewers did not seem prepared, did not have a copy of the resume, and did not ask in-depth questions. It is clear that this organization does not know how to conduct an interview, such as using "behavioral interviewing" which is the standard in the industry. Two managers were suppose to be conducting the interview at the same time but only one attended...even though one of them said they would be there. After sending follow-up letters for the 2 interviews (3 people) no one ever responded. If a candidate has gone through several interviews, "professional courtesy" would have provided the candidate with the status of the positon an interview - even if it was just 1 - 2 sentences considering the candidate did follow-up.
