No negotiations. They start everyone in the field at entry level regardless of experience. The money makes it where you don't care.

The young professional's conference provided the opportunity to have a first time interview with sclumberger.The process was relatively simple, with normal HR questions ( the HR personel who interview me ) had good technical knowledge. He wanted to know much about my technical abilities and willingness to travel.

The interview was just like any other 1:1 behavioral interview. After the introduction. First I was asked to talk about myself, then he asked me if know the details of the job including working schedule and possible locations. The recruiter also gave me 30 seconds to highlight why I think I am the best candidate for the position, the purpose of this was to test how well I work under pressure.

I went to a career fair for my school where I talked to a recruiter. After talking to them for a bit, I didn't expect to hear from them but I ended up getting a call from them the next day about the interview 1. The first interview was questions about my background and questions like "Give me an example when you had to multitask" or "Tell me about a time where your priorities had to change in order to complete a goal." After this round of behavioral questions, it was my turn to tell them what I knew about SLB and ask questions about SLB. I would suggest that you do your homework about the company before you go so that you are prepared. And while doing your homework write down some softball questions that you might have about SLB that way you have some questions to ask. I was the last interview of the day so I went over in time and the recruiter didn't mind.

You will start with a phone interview. Of you move on, you will fly to Tulsa to be part of a group for two days. The very end of that, you will have a two on one interview. But it's probably not going to change anything. They already know by this time if they want to hire you.

The SLB came to campus and held an information session, and I got an interview the next day. The interview looks friendly, but the questions are kinda unexpected. He asked me to write a C program on board, and such technique details. don't know the result yet.
