Interviewed Aug 2011 (took 1 week)
I filled out an application online and received an email to take an online assessment, the email said it should take about 75 minutes, it only took about 30 minutes. The test was some very simple math questions and some situational questions. A few days later I received an email from a recruiter to set up a phone interview, the interview was really simple although the interviewer seemed very distracted and was about 5 minutes late on calling me. She talked fast and everything she said was scripted even to the questions I asked her, she did not seem to have a lot of knowledge about the position. I just complete the phone interview a few hours ago and I do not think I will be hearing back from them.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Shippensburg, PA (took 2 days)
Very basic competency exam. You're only given a certain amount of time and no one ever completes it. Then a face to face interview with HR. They ask simple questions about your work ethic to try to determine how your general attitude is and what your expectations are. Then a drug test was required. From start to finish it took about 3 days to be start work.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in West Bend, WI (took 3 weeks)
Had 2 phone interviews, first with HR then the hiring manager. Got an onsite interview which consisted of an all day panel interview process. There were 3 rounds of interviews each lasting a little over an hour. They say this is an entry-level position, but they are actually looking for someone very specific. You must be willing to work weekends and overtime especially during the holidays. 9-10 hour days are normal.

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took 3 weeks)
Applied online for a team advisor role. Was then emailed to take a skills test. Then got a call for a phone interview. Interview was going well until I was told that the position would be 3rd shift and employees were expected to work 50+ hours a week. I was surprised by this and probably sounded like it. I think they probably should have put that information on the job description. Didn't get another interview.

Interviewed Dec 2010 (took 3 weeks)
I went though two phone interviews, which I found to be fairly standard and easy. The onsite interview consisted of 3 rounds of panel interviews consisting of at least three supervisor/employees lasting an hour a piece. They used the "targeted selection process," which made no sense if they are marketing the position as entry level or 0-2 years experience. These were not easy questions and felt brain dead by the final interview. From the information I obtained, it sounds like this might not be your place to work if you value days off or any sort of work/life balance. I asked if days off are given and nobody could really give me a straight answer, except for "it's not oppressive." It sounded like you had to work weekends to earn an extra 250$, or working that weekend could be used as days off in the future.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Green Bay, WI (took 3 weeks)
Contacted by company HR recruiter off Linked In website; had 2 phone screen interviews first, 1 with HR then 1 with hiring manager; then I had face to face interviews with 4 senior managers at corporate, followed by another panel conference call interview with 2 more managers, and finally the follow up by corporate/HR recruiter. Overall, this was a positive process; Only complaint is that potential employers do not offer detailed feedback for why you were not chosen (probably to protect themselves legally, but more details would help on next interview for the candidate).

Received and Declined Offer

Interviewed Aug 2010 (took 2 weeks)
I applied to Schreiber via an online career search website. I received an email the same day asking me to set aside 90 minutes for a 75 minute online assessment. The assessment asked questions about what I would do in situations of conflict and leadership. It also asked some simple math and reasoning questions. Within a week, I received another email requesting a 30 minute phone interview which I scheduled for a week later. The interview was a lot easier than I expected as it referred more to my leadership experience in student organizations than my work and academic background. There were only about 5-10 minutes of in depth questions and answers with the rest of the time being spent on logistics like academic background, where I would like to work, and what the position would involve. I also asked questions about the company's supplier standards and the recruiter said she would be happy to look for further information to answer my question. Overall, the interview went well and she said she would contact me within a week for a second phone interview.

Reason for Declining
I actually haven't yet but I wanted to be able to provide this information before I forgot the details of the process since I have been doing a lot of interviews lately. Depending on the response from the recruiter about the company's standards for suppliers, I may or may not consider accepting an offer if one is extended. I know that this company is the largest supplier of dairy products for fast food and grocery stores. I also have learned about abuse to cows in the dairy industry. If those accusations are true, this company would be one of the largest supporters of the abuse and I could not work for a company that does not protest the shortcuts that some factory farms take to cut costs at the expense of their animals. So, it is important to me to first learn about the standards that Schreiber sets for its dairy suppliers.
