Interviewed Mar 2012 in Orlando, FL (took a day)
Phone interview where I answered questions about my previous work and internship experience, why I would want to work there, examples of specific situations from college classes or work experience. Was asked if I had any questions at the end and I made the mistake of not asking any. You should always have 3 questions prepared for the end.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Orlando, FL (took 4 months)
The hiring process is long but very straightforward. It consists of two interviews. One was by phone and then a one on one if you are in the Orlando area. If an offer is given, then the paper work takes about a month, drug test, and then you are assigned to your location.

Interviewed May 2011 in Orlando, FL (took 2 weeks)
First you get a phone interview, basic questions tell me about yourself, why do you want to work for SeaWorld, why did you apply for this position and so on. Then, you get invited to a 1:1 interview with and HR rep and the hiring manager almost same questions and then you get some basic accounting questions such as what is a balance, what is an income statement, what formulas are you familiar with on excel. Then, you get a final interview with the VP of the department and almost same questions, but they get more in depth with the accounting questions what is an accrual? tell me what is deferred revenue and do we account for it in our balance sheet or not/ how do we account for it etc. After a few day, they called me and made an offer, but I declined.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Orlando, FL (took 3 weeks)
People were friendly and informative. Basic HR style questions. Lots of scenarios such as Describe a time you gave great customer service and a time you disagreed with a co-worker. Be prepared to give a 3-5 minute presentation about your favorite animal (since that is what your job entails). Think out of the box and do a non-SeaWorld animal.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Orlando, FL (took 4 weeks)
Applied online for the position in May after an employee recommended me and waited for contact. Wasn't until June that I received a call from HR to schedule an interview. Flew in to Orlando on my own money for personal reasons as well as the interview. Walking into HR the office feels very sterile but hospitable. Waiting area consists of standard office chairs in a row with a television playing PR reel on a loop. Interview itself was very formulaic, with each person having a worksheet of interview questions HR seemingly requires them to ask such as,"Recount a time you had to work with someone you didn't like." After those questions more job oriented questions followed such as skills and proficiency. The HR representative and interviewers were all courteous and extremely likable. It felt more like colleagues talking rather than a "do or die" interview process.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took a day)
I applied online to seaworld to just try my luck. Fortunately i made the interview and was informed of my success through email, and was sent details of when to turn up. I turned up early, to find I was the second one to arrive. Then 3 others joined later, with one woman being late. However the woman turned up and was bubbly and chatty, Proceedings started when we were taken on a tour and told about the sort of things we could expect to do, aswell as how things were ran around the place. Then we were taken back of house, shown to some sort of big room and told we were gonna be asked a few questions, and do some sort of group activity before whilst being judged by a panel. First off we were asked who we were and to use the item we brought with us (which was asked beforehand in the email), to say why it described us. Next we had the group activity. We were given a list of items, and were told to rate them on a scale of 1 to 10. Then we came together as a group and discussed and persuaded each other why we thought that item had that number. I cant give advice as to how to behave because I didn't get the job, but im guessing open. Anyhow, we were then taken away, and told we needed to give the panel sometime to decide who they thought did well. After about 30 minutes of wandering around the aquarium we were brought back and the woman who was late was informed to follow some guy. When she left the rest of us were told we didn't make the cut, and were encouraged to email back later for some advice. All I can say is the woman who was late deserved it, as she came, was bubbly, chatty and constantly positive upbeat, whereas I was depressed as Arsenal were just cheated out of the Champions League by Barcelona!

Interviewed Apr 2009 (took a day)
For an entry-level position, they conducted a semi-formal interview. They asked multiple situation based questions that applied to multiple positions. Based on your answers, experience and skills, they determine if you are a good candidate for the company. Following this, they will then determine where you would be best utilized within the company.
