Why are you planning to leave your job? How you handle bad customers, good customer service, what can you bring to the team? then after that there is a second interview with the store manager, she also asked what bring you to sears? what can you bring if hired? what job experience do you have? and what do you expect from a manager?

Interview Details – applied online and like two days later i got called in for an interview. so i went and there was another girl there who was waiting for her interview. i waited for like 30 minutes when the manager came and told us to tour all three floors of the store and write down the number of employees on each floor and how many of them greet us. when we returned we sat down and had a group interview with the manager, the assistant manager, and some other lady. he was a funny chill guy and asked us if we had any experience, which we didn't and to sell us our phones and basically why we chose Sears. after that we had a second interview with the assistant manager where he basically told us what is required of the job and what he's expecting from us and then offered us the position.

Interview Details – I applied for the cashier position online and was contacted a week later to schedule an interview. The interview was very laid back and lasted about thirty minutes, and mostly consisted of a basic overview of what would be expected of me if I got the job. She also asked me a few very specific questions about previous customer service experience, even though she had my application right in front of her and could clearly see that I have never worked a customer service job before. She told me she would call within the week to schedule another interview, but never did.

Interview Details –
There were a lot of hoops to jump through before I was hired. My information was scrabbled, so I had to settle that. Lots of paperwork to sign, drug testing, more paperwork, and then finally after two interviews I found out that I wouldn't start for another two weeks. That didn't settle well with me, but some companies run a little differently so I just used it as mental prep time.
The interviewing went fairly well, I had to repeat myself quite a bit because of the errors on my application. The assistant manager was great, the lead cashier was very set on promoting cards and memberships (a precursor to what madness was to come).
Negotiation Details – Not much negotiation, it was a minimum wage job, end of discussion.
