Interview Details –
There were a lot of hoops to jump through before I was hired. My information was scrabbled, so I had to settle that. Lots of paperwork to sign, drug testing, more paperwork, and then finally after two interviews I found out that I wouldn't start for another two weeks. That didn't settle well with me, but some companies run a little differently so I just used it as mental prep time.
The interviewing went fairly well, I had to repeat myself quite a bit because of the errors on my application. The assistant manager was great, the lead cashier was very set on promoting cards and memberships (a precursor to what madness was to come).
Negotiation Details – Not much negotiation, it was a minimum wage job, end of discussion.
