Interview Details –
Hiring process was pretty simple. After filling out the application I was called in for an interview with one of the managers. She then proceeded to ask me about my previous work history and then quizzed me on some "what if?" scenarios. However, coming from retail these were easily answered.
Then after that interview I sat down with the assistant store manager for a follow-up interview with him. He then asked if I still was interested and then asked a bit about myself and asked a few more "what if" scenarios. At the end I was offered a job on the spot.
Interview Question – Nothing was very difficult or unexpected. However, always have a good explanation how you would handle a disgruntled customer. Also, have a good response to "What is your biggest challenge while working in retail?" Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Did not do any negotiating. The pay was a bit lower than I wanted but being a holiday job I felt no need to push the issue to much.
