Interviewed Apr 2011 in Wilmington, DE (took 2 days)
Had one interview on one day and had to return within couple of days for second interview.
Basically interviewer described facility as a "family" all working together for the patients satisfaction & well being. Yea they wish staff was one big happy family! It was more like family feud! Nobody is happy, which patients and their families/friends can see and feel the stress/tension. Administration plays the concerned uncle, but do nothing to resolve any of the staffs issues and/or concerns.
Corporate also decided taking bariatric patients increase profit margin, especially because some facilities are not equipped to handle this special population. Well it takes 4 to 8 staff members to. Hangs/turn/reposition these patients, and you NEED staff to do that!!

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Mechanicsville, PA (took 2 weeks)
Three short phone interviews in rapid sequence. The company seemed very impressed with my past experience, until I got to corp.. Was flown out to do 1:1 interview. When we arrived at corp. I was placed in a small conference room and given a paper application to fill out. After I completed the application, I waited 30 minutes for the first interview (I was never given a schedule or told what to expect). The first interview was with the same recruiter who phone interviewed me. When she was done, I waited another 30 minutes and was interviewed by the head of HR. Very nice guy, but seemed uninterested in the process. After the HR director, I waited another 40 minutes for the Regional Director who interviewed me to all of 15 minutes. He also seemed irritated by the process, and did not like my experience. After all three interviews I waited another 30 minutes in the small conference room before anyone talked to me. Maybe I was wrong, but I had different exceptions. It felt like I was applying for a janitorial position instead of a CEO position. I did not get an offer, but would have declined. All in all, it was a complete waste of time. I ended up looking at blank walls more than I actually interviewed. The staff were rude, and really did not want to be interviewing me.

Interviewed Jun 2010 (took 3 weeks)
1/2 hour phone screen with pleasant HR director. Invited for 1:1 interview at HQ in Mechanicsburg with hiring manager only. Surprised that two people showed up to do the interviewing. Hiring manager was arrogant and aggressive. Threw papers on conference table, sat down and said, "Start at the beginning and tell me everything - starting when you were in school." School was 20 years ago - this interview was for an executive position. Accompanying director sat at the table, looking like a bobble head doll, saying little but frantically bobbling head and smiling like the bride of Chuckie. I would explain a project and tell in detail what I did and then would be asked, "So what was your role?" Was this person even listening? It was odd and I was treated as if I was there to sell swampland in Florida or had stolen paper towels from the mens room. Hey, you invited me. Why the interrogation?
