Interviewed Oct 2010 (took a day)
I submitted a resume for a Sales Manager Job posted on Monster about 6 weeks before being contacted by email. The email asked me to contact them for a approx 30 minute phone interview.
I called the contact given and we agreed to a time for the interview to take place. About an hour later, so the interviewer could prepare himself. The interviewer was friendly and professional and was asking most of the questions initially. I was asked about my experience as a sales manager, how many sales people did I manage, what was a typical day like, how did i spend my time, how were sales people recruited etc. What was my compensation etc.. Then I began asking questions about the job, if it was a new position, how was the area performing, what happened to the last sale manager etc... The interviewer was happy to answer my questions and did his best to give honest answers as far as I could tell.

Interviewed Apr 2009 (took 4+ weeks)
I received an email from a recruiter with an attached letter describing the position and instructions to call him if I was interested in pursuing the position. I called and was given a lengthy phone interview. From that I was forwarded to a live interview with a member of upper management and then 2 more phone interviews with upper management. Upon collaborative agreement that I was to be considered, I was required to undergo a drug screen and background investigation after which I was offered the position.
