Interviewed Feb 2012 in Littleton, CO (took a day)
I applied to a posting on craigslist (in which I normally wouldn't do for the reasons of quality.) I was then contacted by what I assumed to be a hiring manager for "phase 1 of the interviewing process." When I arrived I was greeted and told to have a seat and that I would have an assessment test..While jumping through these hoops I realized that none of this had anything to do with a sales position. The test consisted of 5 minutes for grammar, 5 minutes for an essay, 10 minutes for math, 2 minutes for logic, and 5 minutes for vocabulary.
All in all I thought that after the test I could talk to an actual decision maker but the supposed human resource clerk told me that she will pass the information off to "someone higher in the company, that will decide if your a good fit for the position." I was taken back seeing I could have done this test from the comfort of my home, while having 5 years experience for sales I thought that it would be more of a personal interview. And that's fine if that's how they do things, I just couldn't imagine the correlation of how I scored on a IQ test and my ability to sell.
I assume that the "Human Resource clerk" is the other review on here.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Littleton, CO (took 2 days)
The applicant must first pass an IQ test and personality assessment. Then an interview is scheduled with the president/CEO of the company, as well as the second-in-command, and the manager of the job you are applying for. That means, you may have up to or more than 3 different one-on-one interviews. Then they get together and if you will be offered a job, they have you come in and offer you a position and give you the employee handbook/insurance benefits information/etc.

Negotiation Details
I did not negotiate, but it may be because I really needed the job and did not want to do anything to compromise my getting a position. I think if others are wanting to negotiate, the best advice would be to make sure you have valid/strong reasons for your appeal. For example, if you want more money because you think you are too qualified for what is being offered, make sure you have examples of why you are so valuable and deserve more money.
Other Details
I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, an IQ/Intelligence Test and a Personality Test.
