bioMérieux Senior Field Service Engineer, Technical Client Consultant (Previous) Interview Question

I interviewed in San Francisco, CA and was asked:
"Several questions related to current limitations or associated problems encountered with some of the biomedical equipment from a customer or usability perspective (i.e. what is the biggest complaint with equipment X, why is equipment Z superior to equipment X). Additionally, technical questions related to why some new product lines will have a greater market impact from a technical solution standpoint compared to current more expensive or older biological/biomedical methods (i.e. which product do you see making an impact in the market place in this next year and why?)."

The answers follow experience related encounters with equipment and explaining my greater depth in knowledge of biological/biomedical equipment, in vitro diagnostics, etc. and the functionality and working experience acquired with these product lines. Additionally, I gave a clear cut, obvious example of how a newer biotechnology solution would save millions of dollars when integrated into a hospital environment for MRSA control when quality, reliability and government regulations were proven to be exacting to a new sampling method and product integration methodology.
