I applied through college or university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams (Schaumburg, IL) in Mar 2013
Interview
I started the interview process with Sherwin-Williams at my college's career fair. There i met with a recruiter and she offered me to set up an interview at the school the next day. I interviewed with her and it was pretty basic, we went over my resume and a few questions based on group work and leadership. A few days later i had a phone interview with a recruiter, she asked what i liked about the position and why i was interested in the company. Then i was instructed to set up a in-store interview. The in-store interview was pretty laid back, i filled out the packet they gave me and asked my own questions over the 90 or so minutes of being there. They showed me around the store and the basics of the job. I followed up and had a follow up phone interview the next day. About 3 weeks later i received an email and phone call to for an interview with the city manager in my hometown. The interview was pretty laid back. The guy asked me to give a 30,000 ft view of myself and asked me a few questions related to time management and group work. I left the interview in good spirits, thinking i had a good chance of getting the job. He also told me not to sit by the phone because they were interviewing many people so it may take a few weeks. About a week later i received an email saying that i was not selected for the position stating that they had limited and unique hiring needs at this time and would retain my resume if positions opened up.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams (Tampa, FL) in Jan 2022
Interview
the interviewer didn't really care and was on the phone during the interview and made me wait over a month just to hear from them to schedule an interview. when I showed up the person didn't remember me and only asked me questions about personal life and not much about the job.
I applied online. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2021
Interview
Was very easy and comfortable. You will be doing a phone interview asking basic customer service questions, in store interview with a store manager, and a video chat with the district store manager. If you’re calm and amicable there would be no way to not get hired.
