Interview Details –
After applying online, I was contacted for an initial screening with HR. This was done over the phone. They let me know they would schedule a follow-up interview at the end, this time with the person who would be the supervised in the position. That interview lasted longer and wasn't too technical. It was more about bigger ideas of the project. This was also done on the phone, and at the end, I knew a follow-up would be scheduled.
The last interview was a one-on-one in person interview and it was more technical. The technical aspect wasn't what I was used to where it is like a test. It was more conversational. Overall, people were very friendly and even though I didn't get an offer, a positive experience.
Interview Question – This is hard to answer. Few questions had one right answer. So it was more like talking while trying to read reactions, which was a bit challenging. Answer Question

Interview Details –
I attended the career fair organized by Shutterfly in Sunnyvale, California in the last February and applied to various positions. I was contacted by the HR for this position after 10 days. ------>Had a phone interview scheduled after another week.

Interview Details – I had a phone screen interview with an internal recruiter then an interview with 5 marketing team members for a Partner Marketing position. This was a pretty rigorous interview and I was there for about 3 hours. I was told I was a strong candidate. I was well-qualified for the position and I have an MBA. A few days after the interview I had an offer from another company. I emailed both the recruiter and the hiring manager. I told them I had another offer and wanted to know if they had a decision. They never responded. I understand that if they had come to a decision but to outright not respond is terrible. I think it is very unprofessional to ask someone to come for an interview for three hours and not respond to status of hiring. I did not hear back from them for several months and then when I finally did hear from them I received a canned email response that I was not being considered for the position. With a 3-4 hour in-person interview invested the company should have at LEAST responded to my inquiries with an email or better yet a personal phone call. The fact that Shutterfly recruiters and hiring manager never responded to my emails post-interview, nor contacted me after the interview I find very unprofessional. This has changed my mind about the integrity of the company. I no longer use Shutterfly for personal uses either because I am so outraged out how they conduct business. I tell friends and family not to use Shutterfly. I was a HUGE advocate of the company prior to this interview but the fact that they would waste my time interviewing and then be so disrespectful as to not let me know the status after is not appropriate. It sends a signal that employees are disposable. I now have a great job but I will forever dislike Shutterfly.

Interview Details –
I am not sure if I oversold during the phone interview which lasted for an hour. I had to meet with 4 people for face to face interv .the interview lasted three and half hours.Yes Record. some Sql questions, Analytical tools....why shutterfly blabalba...then with the hiring manager a case study where I had a spreadsheet. bunch of lines of quarterly data not properly set for analytical purposes, more of dashboard views.
Great team , great place to work., too bad I didn't get the job.

Interview Details – The interview process begins with the typical screening interview with the Sr HR Manager, followed by the Hiring Manager and then others as applicable. Initial round is by phone and then you're brought in person. Standard interview questions, nothing too tough or out of the ordinary. Everyone I interviewed with was very nice. There was some delay in communication between rounds - which I'm guessing is due to interviewing with other candidates. But in my opinion, the professional thing to do is to stay in touch even if it's to say we're interviewing others - I know I'm not the only one you're talking to.

Negotiation Details – The HR Managers are seasoned negotiators. Be sharp, don't give in. Write down what you are told at different times so you can compare your notes and have leverage when negotiating.

Interview Details – I applied online for this position, and was contacted by a recruiter from Shutterfly. I had a phone interview scheduled the next day. Talked to the hiring manager and they wanted to schedule an onsite interview. A few days passed, and I did not get any email from them, so I sent the recruiter an email asking about it. There was no reply from them until a week later. I went to the onsite interview which consists of 4 interviews with managers including the hiring manager. The questions asked were easy, and I was told that they will get back to me within 48 hours. However, I waited for a week but did not get any response. I emailed the recruiter, and again no response. At this point, I felt this is pretty much a one-way communication process, and find it very frustrating. I checked their website and found that job posting has been removed, so I assume that this position has been filled. I would say the hiring process appears to be unorganized.

Interview Details – The interview process was seamless. I had a 1:1 phoner with the recruiter, a 1:1 phoner with the hiring manager and then 6 in person 1:1 interviews (in a 5 hour block). The HR dept was quick to follow up and respectful of my time. Everyone I met was welcoming and enthusiastic about the position and company.

Negotiation Details – The negotiations were also seamless. I told the recruiter what I wanted and (instead of doing the draining back and forth), she came back to me with her best offer. Her candor was refreshing and I was excited to join a company with that culture.

Interview Details – I was interviewed by my current company while working at my former company. It was slightly like an acquisition process, although my current company did not end up purchasing the former. I had 3 separate one-on-one sit downs with people in which we talked at length about what I did at my former company.

Interview Details –
Approximately two weeks after submitting my resume online I was contacted by the staffing assistant to schedule a phone interview with the internal recruiter. The phone interview seemed to go well and a few days later I was contacted by the staffing assistant to schedule an in-person interview with the hiring executive.
When I arrived for the in-person interview the staffing assistant met me in the lobby and was friendly and professional. The in-person interview lasted about an hour and at the time I thought it went well. The questions were all simple and straight-forward, no behavioral questions. I was prepared for tough job-related questions, but there were none. I was asked if I had actually used or purchased anything from their web site (not just looked at it) and that seemed to be very important to them. I left expecting to be called back for a second round.
A few days after my interview I was very surprised to receive a form-letter email from the staffing assistant that said “We carefully reviewed your background and experience, and we do not have a position that is a strong match with your qualifications at this time….” The letter also invited me to contact her if I had any questions. I replied to her email asking if she could provide any specific feedback on why I was not a fit and she answered saying she didn’t have that information but she would check and get back to me. I never received a reply, despite follow-up emails to both the staffing assistant and the internal recruiter, and I felt that was rude and unprofessional.
