Interviewed Mar 2012 in Princeton, NJ (took a day)
After sending my CV, cover letter and publications/project reports by e-mail, they told me they wanted to conduct a phone interview and we agreed on a day and an hour.
First part of the interview questions included these topics:
- Introduction and my background.
- Detailed information on my Master thesis topic and why I was interested in doing that.
- Several questions from almost every project that I accomplished.
- What I would like to do after graduation.
Technical questions included the following:
- What is fundamental matrix?
- What is essential matrix?
- How many degrees of freedom does essential matrix have? Why?
- What is the 'virtual' keyword in C++?
- What is a pure virtual function and why do we use them? How do we implement them in C++?
- Why do we need to use 'virtual destructors'?
- How is the process of 'Texture Mapping' in OpenGL?
Basically what they tested was if I had the basic 3D computer vision and C++ programming knowledge. Thus they asked very specific questions in these fields; which made it a fair interview indeed.

Interviewed Mar 2012 in Baltimore, MD (took a day)
College resume collection and informational interview followed about a month later by a call from 2 recruiters. I received a call back from the corporate research office asking if I would be interested in working on a medical imaging project. The people seemed friendly, and the culture was very engineer-centric. Be prepared for technical questions about the project for which you are interviewing. Know the major players in the industry, and try to be as specific as possible when discussing the details of the work. These guys are just starting to hire business people as opposed to scientists, so be prepared to give a little leeway if the interview isn't like one you've had before.

Interviewed Feb 2011 (took 4 months)
Everyone in the office was friendly and seemed to get along. However, the HR interviewer spoke poorly of both the company and the location of the office. He seemed ready to look elsewhere. Additionally, the process was extremely disorganized, and it was difficult to contact anyone to follow up after my multiple interviews.

Interviewed Nov 2010 (took 2 weeks)
I found a post for an intern on a forum. Sent the CV and portfolio. Set up a phone interview which last 45 minutes, mainly talked about my projects and general knowledge of current skill set. I would say I got everything setup pretty good so they already knew my skills. Two weeks later I got the offer.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in Bangalore (India) (took 2 weeks)
I sent an email with my CV and a cover letter for the open position. 2 days later I get a phone call, asking for a telephonic interview on the next day. The telephone interview consisted of a discussion of my previous projects in university and working life. After another 30 minute telephone interview 2 days after, a visit to the site was established. During my visit, I had to create a presentation on one of my projects and have 5 individual 1:1's. The presentation was more of an overview and quite vague, and wasnt that well appreciated. The 1:1s were quite casual and consisted both asking basic technical questions and a couple of competency based questions. In the end, due to my poor presentation performance, I got informed within a week that I wasnt chosen.
