Getting an Interview
Scholarship Interview Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied online and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Sime Darby.
Interview Details – There was a series of interview rounds when I applied for the scholarship. The online application had a number of behavioral questions. After submitting the online application, I was called for the "first" round, where there was a group-interview. The "second" round had three parts to it: 1) group-interview 2) presentation 3) role-playing. The "final" round was a one-on-one interview.

Sponsored Student Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied online and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Sime Darby in March 2010.
Interview Details – 4 rounds of interviews, first was an online essay on why you would want the scholarship. Second was a group interview which included role playing and solo presentation. Third was a single interview with current employees of the company which have relations to the course you would like to pursue.
Interview Question – Since I was applying for Accounting and Finance, in my interview, the interviewer asked what I would do if my superior would ask me to do some creative accounting in the company's account View Answer

I applied online and the process took 2 months - interviewed at Sime Darby.
Interview Details – There are 3 stages which include presentation, behavioral tests, presentation and interview. Each stage gets harder and harder
Interview Question – Case study. They gave a customer service report with charts and graphs. We required to find the short term and long term solutions for it Answer Question

Marketing Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Sime Darby in August 2009.
Interview Details – There were 2 rounds of interviews, first with the HR executive and folllowed by a second interview with the hiring managers. Interviews were largely informal with questions based on my past experience and what I expected the role to be like. Perceptions of hiring managers was cordial and while culture was not discussed explicitly, it was an informal interview that was more of a discussion and chat.
Interview Question – What is your experience in marketing to date? Where would you like to see yourself in 5 years time? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Negotiate at the start for a position suited and commensurate with your experience. As opportunities for development are hard to come by, it is recommended to start only at what you are comfortable with.
Science Interview (Neutral Experience; Average Interview)
I applied online and the process took a day - interviewed at Sime Darby in November 2010.
Interview Details – I applied through online, after few weeks,they called me for an interview,which will be held the next day.
The interview was actually a structured interview consist of 4 stages.
1st stage : Group discussion, it was easy,as long as u talk and give ideas.
2nd stage : Online test and personality test, very long,make sure your brain is ready
No technical question
Started at 9am,finished at around 5pm
