Interviewed at SinglePlatform
Interview Details – Very similar to other people's experiences here. Some typical interview questions mixed in with a few out of the box questions that some others have had. I had the alligator/bear question as well as titling my own autobiographical movie. Interview was conducted through phone and was generally pretty brief compared to other interviews I've had.
Interview Question – If a bear and an alligator got in a fight who would win and why? Answer Question
I applied online and interviewed at SinglePlatform.
Interview Details – Had a 20 min phone screen where they asked why me, why singleplatform, why sales. Next I had two 20 min videochat interviews that were pretty casual. Asked if a bear and an alligator were in a fight who would win. What are good attributes of a salesperson? What would I look for in a sales person? How do I fit these?
Interview Question – No difficult questions. Felt pretty prepared Answer Question
I applied through a recruiter and the process took a day - interviewed at SinglePlatform in February 2014.
Interview Details – First Phone screen then in person interview
I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at SinglePlatform.
Interview Details – Applied online, contacted about a week later. Brief phone interview with some odd questions, followed by in person interview with three different people.

-Kethcup or mustard? Why?
-If you could have lunch with one person in history who would it be and what is one question you would ask them? View Answer
Negotiation Details – No negotiation, either take it or leave it. Base salary is standard for New York City, higher than several other inside sales positions I had interviewed with.
I applied through college or university and the process took 2 months - interviewed at SinglePlatform in December 2013.
Interview Details – Learned about company through career services website... did 1 phone screening, 2 Skype interviews and 1 in person. Took around 2 months of interviewing to receive offer.
You know you made it to the next round when they mentioned they were "going to send you over to ______".
All interviewers asked "what makes a good sales person"

Interview Question – Try and sell me ketchup...then sell mustard Answer Question
Negotiation Details – No negotiation, straight forward with the salary
I applied online and the process took 4 days - interviewed at SinglePlatform.
Interview Details – The interview was pretty straight forward with a few curveballs thrown in there. They asked general questions testing how well versed you are with the sales industry i.e how have you dealt with rejection in the past, why do you want to get into sales. There were also questions such as who would win in a fight, a bear or alligator and if you had to title an autobiography, what would you title it?
Interview Question – The most unexpected question was if a bear and alligator got into a fight, who would win. I thought I answered it with the right amount of logic and cleverness, but I guess not Answer Question
I applied online and the process took 1 week - interviewed at SinglePlatform.
Interview Details – Phone interview with a HR recruiter. The interview was pretty strange, very fast paced and went from pretty normal behavioral interview questions to very random questions such as "who would win in a fight, an alligator or a polar bear?"
Interview Question – What is something you thought I would ask you today? Answer Question
I applied online and the process took 1+ week - interviewed at SinglePlatform.
Interview Details – I applied online via LinkedIn and was contacted almost immediately about scheduling a phone interview. The interviewer was extremely personable, however I don't believe they were very interested in holding an actual conversation with me. Rather, they went down the scripted list of questions others have already listed here. Overall, while I understand why the questions were posed as they were (critical thinking and quick decision-making while backing your answers is important for sales), I would have rather had a more meaningful interview. I did feel the questions shined some light onto my personal traits and characteristics, but definitely not enough.
Interview Question – Bear or croc? What superpower would you want to have and why? Answer Question
I applied online and the process took 2 days - interviewed at SinglePlatform in July 2013.
Interview Details – Applied online and heard back about a day later. Scheduled a phone screen for the next day and it was all down hill from there. Felt extremely rushed and the questions as per many of the other reviews on here were ridiculous and do not pertain to the job at all.
The funny thing is i see the same job posted nearly every day, so the question is do they actually fill this position and is the recruiter even qualified to screen people out. Good Luck, they were just recently bought out so hopefully their recruiting department will get a shake up. The idea and company are great once you can get in/past their stupid recruiting.
Interview Question – Who would win a fight between an alligator and a bear?
What would you title your autobiography? Answer Question
I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at SinglePlatform in July 2012.
Interview Details – Phone screen which was very friendly and easy.. they were obviously just trying to see if I can think on my toes and sound good over the phone.
Interview Question – What's your dream job? View Answer
Negotiation Details – You don't need to negotiate the pay is very fair. 40k base and 30k commission uncapped. But I'm sure if you have experience you can ask for a little bit more. I always say it's good to negotiate in a sales position it shows qualities that they are looking for when you're aggressive enough to try.
