Customer Service Representative Interview

Customer Service Representative
Pasig City (Philippines)

I applied through a recruiter and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Sitel Philippines.

Interview Details – The hiring process is too long and the HR people are not as efficient as their process demands. One might need an entire day just to go through the initial interview, online submission of data, qualifying test, behavioral test, and behavioral interview, and if you passed all of them that is only when you are shortlisted for other interviews with ops.

Interview Question – None, except that being too long and too much (volume wise), it was a breeze.   Answer Question

Reason for Declining – low offer

Recruitment Coordinator Interview

Recruitment Coordinator
Baguio, Baguio (Philippines)

I applied through an employee referral and the process took 3 days - interviewed at Sitel Philippines in August 2010.

Interview Details – Hiring process for staff employees is very tedious due to sifting best candidates for the position and because they hire in bulk. Examinations really sift only fit candidates for the job though may take days.

Interview Question – Staff questions are generated by results gathered from examinations to validate distortions. Client specific language examinations are offered to agent level and can be difficult most of the times.   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – No Negotiations. Salary package is standard. Minimum increment for increase sometimes even less than 100PhP.

I applied through a recruiter - interviewed at Sitel Philippines in October 2011.

Interview Details – Having to return at least 3-4 times to undergo a battery of interviews & examinations.
During the job offer the HR representative who delivered it was not aware of the word 'basic salary' & thinks that the allowance is part of the 'base'.

Interview Question – As always, where do you see yourself (insert number) years from now?   View Answer

Negotiation Details – The allowance is not part of the base salary. Do not go around quoting 'basic+allowance' is meeting your initial expectations when disclosing the final job offer.

Agent Interview

Agent
Manila, Manila (Philippines)

I applied through a staffing agency and the process took a day - interviewed at Sitel Philippines in March 2008.

Interview Details – Was referred to by Jobstreet where the initial interview and assessment was done. I brought the referral form to HR and they did a follow up assessment similar to the one done with Jobstreet - typing, mock call, customer relations. Final interview with HR was done as a group. After passing, they sent us out to operations for an interview with the prospective account.

Interview Question – Where do you see yourself 5 years from now   View Answer

Negotiation Details – It was straightforward. A job offer was given and it was up to you to accept or decline. It was done as a group, rather than on a one-on-one basis.
