Application

I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Six Flags (Jackson, NJ) in January 2010.

Interview

nothing about it was purposeful or calculated cattle-call comes to mind Dozens of applicants salivating over few jobs Came in after an initial phone interview, was scheduled for the following week, offered a job, just to be told that I needed to apply for the position as a matter of course. Training never materialized in any discernible format that comes to mind, nor did any real on-the-job training

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Six Flags (Atlanta, GA) in March 2009.

    Interview

Online application followed by an in person interview. They would not call you in, you would just show up after completing the online application. They are looking for young, somewhat energetic individuals to fulfill the brand's experience. I've known people to not get the job for being "too serious" in the interview.

    Interview Questions

    • The questions are very straight forward because it is usually a first job for teenagers. They are just looking for positive interactions.   Answer Question

    None

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Six Flags (Valencia, CA) in September 2008.

    Interview

There's the initial interview with the HR hiring supervisor and if you pass that, they pass you on to a department scheduling supervisor. The department supervisor asks more specific interview questions that pertain to the department you're hiring into.

    Interview Questions

    • Questions were pretty generic. It was a sales position so I had to upsell an item.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

No negotiation. It's a take it or leave it base pay.
