Interviewed May 2010 in Brockton, MA (took 5 days)
First it was phone interview with recruiter. She had just about 10 questions, general questions. Did i know anything about food service. Then it went to HR, then i was asked another 5 questions. More specific to the job i was looking in too.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Denver, CO (took 2 weeks)
I had an initial phone interview with a general recruiter, had a second interview with a behavioral recruiter, and a third interview with a panel of recruiters, the recruiter I would be working for, her boss, and a peer on the team. I would plan ahead in detail for the third interview. There were several questions that had several parts to the question about processes. This part of the interview was difficult because they tend to be vague about what they were looking for and when asking to clarify, they were hesitant to get specific which I am assuming is so they were not leading.

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Chicago, IL (took 4+ weeks)
recruiter gave me enough time to prepare for telephone interview, did first interview( behavioural) by another hr member, given scenarios and asked what would you do, or what have you done before in that situation then a phone call from a hiring manager, he was very professional on the phone, set up an appointment for another phone interview, focused more on the job you are applying for, what the job entails and was asked about job experience, at that time hiring manager set up a panel interview for the following week. they asked questions specifically for that position, about sanitation, your experiences, bring extra resume incase others do not have a copy of your resume. if a job is not offered no worries at least you have the experience and you can reevaluate how the interview went and will do better next time, if you were too over confident maybe next interview tone it down a little

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Alexandria, VA (took 1+ week)
I was quite surprised that Sodexo had a hiring manager list a part-time position on Craigslist. Also, I was somewhat reluctant to apply as the email address was listed as private. However, I did apply and received a response via email and phone that same day from the hiring manager. It was good that the person called and email as the email was from a "gmail" account and not an official sodexo domain. I spoke with the hiring manager and then setup and went for a 1:1 interview one week later at a government building in Alexandria VA. It was extremely professional from that point forward. The interview went well but in the end I was not offered the postion as I could not commit to the desired scheduling which was not clearly listed in the job posting.

Interviewed Jul 2010 (took 2 weeks)
Two phone interviews. First interview just basic questions about background , first interviewer was very personable and friendly, lasted about 5 minutes, 2nd phone interview scheduled at that time. 2nd phone interview was behavorial based questions. 2nd interview not very personable, typed up my answers, lasted about 20 minutes. Questions such as "tell me a time when you worked on a project with a diverse group of people" I was told I would be contacted after my answers were evaluated either for another interview or that I was no longer in consideration. Have not heard back from them.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Philadelphia, PA (took 3 months)
Contacted by HR in March followed a week later with a behavioral phone interview. Didn't hear back for 3 mos & then contacted by HR and the hiring manager. Supposed to have a 1:1 but didn't hear back for 2 weeks when I received a standard not-qualified e-mail. Only seemed to be interested in my previous salary and not at all with my qualifications.

The hiring process was long and over drawn. The phone interview was a waste of of time and the asked the same questions as the last two phone interviews.

Interviewed Feb 2010 (took 1+ week)
I idenitfied the position and applied for it online. The match was perfect for me so I was pleased when I was able to schedule a phone interview immediately. After a strong phone interview, I was informed that the position would likely go to an internal candidate, but I would still be in the pipeline for an anticipated opening in the near future.
