Interviewed Mar 2012 in Cincinnati, OH (took 2 days)
I knew that organization well and had done some W2 hourly work for them about 10 years ago - so when I learned that there was an opening, it was like talking to old friends. I went on a sales call with an AE to pitch my placement on a project and I hit if off with the clients.
24 hours later I get a phone call from the recruiter with a solid job offer. That conversation went well and lasted we talked for five minutes. I accepted the offer immediately.

Negotiation Details
There was not a negotiation per se. I was told my salary and bonus potential. It was comparable to my package that I'd had during my previous full time work, AND I WOULD NOT BE TRAVELING, so I accepted.
Other Details
I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Drug Test and a Background Check.

Interviewed Apr 2011 (took 1 week)
Interview Consisted of 2 phases:
- 1:1 interview with recruiter
This was a standard "do you have the right background and personality to bring you in for a real interview?" interview. Very brief and an in-office interview was scheduled for the next week. I was told that they prefer to complete the rest of the interview process in a half-day interview, on-site, so we set that up.
- In-office interview with Client lead, technical lead, and practice lead
Met with 2 technical people and one sales person. Technical questions were more in terms of "describe an application you've written" rather than "What class is the Transaction object a member of?". In other words, they'd rather you understand application architecture than be able to memorize the .NET library.
Everyone was very courteous and the experience was very positive.
A few days after the in-office interview, I received an offer. I ended up finding a better offer, but Sogeti was an extremely close 2nd. If it was the only offer I received, I would have accepted it in a heartbeat.

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took 8 weeks)
First had a phone interview with a Sogeti recruiter. I then had a phone interview with a practice VP. Each went very well. I then went to the local office and had two face-to-face interviews. The first was with the area VP, and then with the recruiter and the head of HR. Each of those went well, and I was told I would talk to at least one more person. I had a phone interview with the practice guy that would be my boss, and that call went very well too. I then had a call with his boss, another VP in another city. I had been told that would be it, but then I was asked to have a call with the practice VP that I had spoken to earlier in the process. After I spoke with him, it was about two more weeks before I was offered the position.
At every step of the way, each and every person was kind, friendly, helpful and encouraging. That went a long way to me wanting to join Sogeti. When I went in to sign the papers, the VP and an account manager came to say hi, welcome me to the team and we even chatted for about 30 minutes.

I make a great salary at my current employer, so I just asked to have a lateral in terms of pay. I was told that puts me at the high end of the range, but they were very open about it. We agreed to terms at the very beginning. It was never an issue. Personally, I find that simple honesty about what you need works best. A company will either meet your number or not.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Dallas, TX (took 1 week)
I got this interview via a career fair on my campus. I was told on the day of the interview they would be in touch the following week. Long story short after a month of "we'll let you know next week", I stopped calling and never heard from them again.
The interview consisted of three parts; only one of them consisted of technical questions. These were easy, generic OOP and SQL concepts. Overall the experience was very pleasant, low key, and friendly... I'm rather disappointed that the recruiter would not return my calls.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Phoenix, AZ (took 2 weeks)
There was an initial interview with two people. After the initial interview they invite you to the office in phoenix to interview with 3+ people. There were no hard technical questions. Most of the questions consisted of why I was interested in Sogeti. Other than that the interview consisted in them explaining what Sogeti does.

Interviewed Jul 2010 in Houston, TX (took 2+ weeks)
I was contacted by a recruiter who arranged a phone interview with a Sogeti Director. It took several attempts to connect with the interviewer who was too busy to make the phone calls. The phone interview was informal and provided adequate detail about the position requirements. In retrospective, the interviewer provided clues to problems in the organizations ability to perform project based work. The interview was followed by a 1:1 in person interview with a peer. The 1:1 was also informal. Typical questions about style and experience.

Negotiation Details
Although compensation had been discussed during the recruiting and interview process, a substantially lower offer was made, which I rejected (warning sign). After several days a final offer was made which was in-line with the originally discussed compensation requirements.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Background Check.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Phoenix, AZ (took 4 days)
Standard questions about projects, with a review of the resume and then few scenario based questions.
Interviewers seemed honest and happy about their line of work.
They are primarily looking for people who not only deliver but also promote and sell Sogeti services and bring in more revenue. Guess that means, more sales = good job.

Interviewed Nov 2010 (took 5 days)
Horrible!
Had a great phone interview with follow up 1:1 meeting to be scheduled. I didn't hear from the recruiter for over a week. I called to clarify next steps and received no contact from the recruiter/company. I'm surprised by this behavior and it's extremely unprofessional. Stay away.
