Interviewed Aug 2011 in Charlotte, NC (took 4 months)
I applied online through an ad in monster.com. I was in Japan at the time so the interview was over the phone initially. The screening process left me at the final stages with 2 prospective candidates remaining.
This was May of 2011. I was declined the position once. However few weeks later they came back to me to tell me they wanted to meet me in person when I got tothe US.
The interview consisted of an Informal interview consisting og 2 Japanese ex-pats and a panel interview with the executives of the company.
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
It was dificult to negotiate a market value salary which at the time I thought was a good deal higher than what they offered. In the end I folded for the opportunity to work for a Global 2000 company and the chance to learn a slightly different angle to my trade, in a new industry field.
Other Details
I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a Group/Panel Interview and a Background Check.
