Interviewed Aug 2011 in Culver City, CA (took 2 months)
Went through a brief phone screening interview that was followed up by an in-person interview with the HR Recruiter. After that, there was a panel interview which consisted of 3 managers and this interview lasted about an hour. Called back in few weeks later to meet the hiring manager. Everyone I interviewed with seemed nice and made the interview process a positive experience.

Interviewed Apr 2011 (took a day)
I received an email asking me for my availability for an interview. When I arrived, the HR office was full and it reminded me of the doctors office waiting room. The HR person, an Asian woman was fake and asked me questions which had no relevance to the position. I was expecting to talk about my ACTUAL accomlishments at my previous job which would have scored points for me. Instead, I became a bit irritated with her which gave me a bad feeling. I am used to dealing with professional people who appreciate someone who values hard work, growth, and motivation to succeed. She almost rushed at the end, not offering her business card which I had to ask for. I left with a feeling that I would not get called back for a second interview. I still sent a thank you letter and never heard from this little girl HR person.
Perhaps it was a good thing that I did not get the job. Sometimes things happen for a reason!

Interviewed Jan 2011 (took 3 weeks)
I applied online and about a week later, was contacted via telephone by a director not related to recruiting, but just a director within the department I was interested in. Right off the bat, the director stated to me that she felt I lacked the skills needed in the position...all this prior to me answering any questions about myself.

Interviewed Nov 2009 in Los Angeles, CA (took a day)
Very Informal. Met with two older women who asked me more about my east coast upbringing than my actual qualifications. Discussed what the job was about and was not given much opportunity to talk. Left feeling very disheartened.

Interviewed Jun 2008 in Culver City, CA (took 6 weeks)
HR seemed clueless about the position, little knowledge of what was actually required. Went by a script and not much else. One group interview with the current team that seemed to have strong knowledge of the work needed. Process overall was slow, took several weeks in all. It would be days before calls returned, had to keep on them constantly.

Got a slight bump but no where near previous salary. Low ball salaries because of the 'Sony' name seem to be the reason
