Southern Wine & Spirits Key Account Manager Interview

Was called in for interview, had a panel interview that went well. Asked if i was interested in the wine or spirit side. I was told during the interview that i was very qualified for the osition and was set up for a second interview the next day. Duing the second interview i was told the same as in the first, very qualified and would be a great fit. The manager would contact me within a week and hinted a job offer would come. Weeks went by with no word then a personal email arrived saying they promoted internally. I was later told by a manager in the company I know personally that they promoted the position internally because morale was so low they had no choice f they wanted to keep people. He said I should run far away from this company.
