Difficult Interview
Overall Positive Experience Received and Accepted Offer

Interviewed Jun 2007 in Dallas, TX (took 2 days)

I applied online by submitting my resume. I was notified via email to come to an informational interview which lasted the better part of one day. At the end of that time, I was asked to schedule a 1:1 interview. Several weeks later, I had my one on one interview which consisted of interviewing w/ two people individually. Within 24 hours, I was emailed an acceptance letter with details of training to follow.

The process from beginning to end was extremely efficient and thorough. SW has a very, very impressive Headquarters facility which I loved from the moment I walked through the door. Their legendary culture and atmosphere is EVERYWHERE and the feeling of being part of a family is real and sincere.

Negotiation Details

No, you take the deal offered and are grateful to work for one of the best companies in the world. SW is known for taking good care of their employees, plus, they are unionized. I am very happy and satisfied.

Other Details

I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview, a Drug Test and a Background Check.

Average Interview
Overall Positive Experience Received and Accepted Offer

Interviewed Mar 2009 in Dallas, TX (took 3 weeks)

I first received an offer for a phone interview, and spoke with someone in HR for about 30 minutes. After that, I was flown to their headquarters for a final round interview with the same HR recruiter along with someone from the department in which I was applying. Within a week, I received a phone call with an offer, which I happily accepted. My interview was what drew me into the company, getting to see how fun the culture was from the second I stepped foot in the door. Everyone was overly friendly, and the popcorn machine and free peanuts didn't hurt.

Interview Questions

Tell me about a time where you faced an ethical dilemma, and how you went about solving it.

Negotiation Details

There was little room for negotiation. It was a set hourly wage and number of hours per week, though my department was pretty flexible.

Other Details

I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a Group/Panel Interview, a Drug Test and a Background Check.

Overall Positive Experience Received and Declined Offer

Interviewed Nov 2008 (took 5+ weeks)

I applied online and waited about a month before hearing back. I then had a phone interview. It was very straight forward. Most of the questions were behavioral. A few weeks later, I received a call inviting me to fly to Texas to interview for the position. The interview was conducted by a panel.
