Was approached by a campus recruiter at a career fair, decided to go to an informational session. This consisted of an on-campus presentation, followed by a 1 on 1 interview should you choose to learn more, and a phone call to parents for a sort of "personality check".

Interviewed May 2009 (took 3 days)
The interview process gives and overview of the summer internship experience with the good, the bad, and the ugly. The purpose is to see if it is a win-win for both the student and the recruiter. The important things they want to know are: Can you work hard? Can you study hard? Can you be coachable?

The recruiter gets your resume, decides if they like you or not, give you a call, then start the interviewing.
interview 1: small groups of 3-4 people, summarize the job, the company, see if you are still interested because it is a hard job. if you were participating, they may ask you for another 1:1 interview
interview 2: talk about everything... they ask you very broad questions, and you just have to know how to talk about yourself and your experiences.
Interview3: very similar thing, they wanna see if you can commit to the hardship the work comes with.
