Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Wichita, KS Jan 2009 – Reviewed Oct 11, 2011
Interview Details – First contact was with a hiring vendor. The phone interview was handled professionally, and I felt I had plenty of opportunity to make my case. The face-to-face interview was with two people, a manager and senior manager. Very professional, and again, I felt I was able to make a case for my experience and fit for the position. They capped off the interview with a factory tour, which really sealed the deal for me. So cool!
Interview Question – What is your management style? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – We were able to agree on salary and the standard benefits package was competitive.
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Wichita, KS Jan 2008 – Reviewed Jul 5, 2010
Interview Details – I applied online in December of 2008. I had an initial phone interview. It was followed up by a 1:1 interview a few weeks later. They flew me in and put me up in a hotel room and gave me a rental car. I don't remember much about the phone interview, but the 1:1 was pretty informal. It really was a tour of the plant, and they seemed to have made up their minds to hire before it. They paired you up with a senior engineer and they were your guide for the day.

No Offer – Interviewed in Wichita, KS Jun 2010 – Reviewed Jun 7, 2010
Interview Details – Phone interview from a pre-employment screener who was not well-versed in the knowledge and vernacular of the position. Interview was awkward because I had to pause and wait for the interviewer to type my responses. Questions were not difficult but I believe their interview process is flawed.

Interview Details –
Slow process...after they decided to interview me, it took a week to set it up, then after the interviews it took another week to get an offer, then after I told them I would accept it took nearly two weeks to get the results of the background check and drug test back (not because of problems with either, because their wheels move slowly).
The interview process itself was pretty standard. I did interview with the person who would be my boss, a peer of theirs, their boss, and their boss's boss. Pretty standard situational questions by all. They did not seem to have a standard set of interview questions they would ask all candidates; it seemed pretty free-form and informal. For such a large company, with so much red-tape, I was surprised by that. All of the people I interviewed with were friendy and seemed excited to talk to me, excited about their jobs, and excited about the future of the company.
The post-job offer process seemed inefficient. I worked with HR for everything other than the actual interviews. They were accessible by email and phone, but seemed more used to dealing with internal people who would be familiar with their acronyms, jargon, facility building locations, and procedures. They had a hard time proactively communicating some important things to me before I had to ask. Like where to park, do I need a guest badge to get in, who would give me a guest badge and when, and what to do after the interviews ended.
The overall process was not bad, but it certainly could have been better. I am enjoying working there, by the way.
Interview Question – They asked me what accounts would I hit if I were to book a journal entry for sales. View Answer

Salary is very negotiable, if you are not union. HR will start at the union pay rate which is based on your years of experience. If you have skills that are more marketable than just your years of experience, talk to the manager that will be your boss if you are offered a job. They can go to bat for you with HR and get a higher offer. I am not certain of the exact numbers, but my manager pushed mine 15-20% higher than HR initially was going to offer me.
I was also able to get a week of ETO to start with, which was a big perk for me (you normally start with zero then acrue a day or two per month).
