Interviewed May 2012 in Chicago, IL (took 6 weeks)
I posted my resume online and was called in to do an interview within 3 days. I went in for the interview and it seemed to go well. The manager and I seemed to hit it off pretty well. I was then scheduled for a second interview with one of his peers. The second interview didn't go well at all. It seemed like every question being asked was phrased in a negative light. (i.e. what are your biggest weaknesses? what problems did you have at your last job? what do you do when you make mistakes?) I knew once i left the store that I wasn't getting the job. But I decided to persevere and in doing so I received phone calls from other Sprint locations. I went on probably 4 different interviews within one week. But they all seemed to leave me hanging. There was absolutely zero feedback.
So the final interview that I had was at one store that I really wanted to work at. The staff seemed cool and the store manager seemed very straight forward. But again, zero feedback. Then one day my references began calling me to let me know that someone had called them to ask about me. That same day I got a call from the first manager that interviewed with and he set me up with an interview with the DM. The next day I interviewed with the DM, who seemed ridiculously cool. The interview seemed more like an information session. I took a drug test that same day and got the job offer about 4 days later. I start at the end of the week.

Interviewed Apr 2012 in Emeryville, CA (took 2 weeks)
Took 2 weeks to get a phone call from a store manager to come in for a 1:1. The interview was pretty much a joke and a slap in the face. I felt de-valued and got a bad vibe within 5 minutes of the interview. They were trying to low ball my pay and he didn't want anyone who focused on customer service. He started to let loose because he began cursing and told me to call back in a week. I will never recommend anyone to apply. Otherwise, good luck!

Reason for Declining
Manager was unprofessional. People don't quit their jobs, they quit their managers.

Interviewed Apr 2012 in Westminster, CO (took 3 days)
I applied online on Friday and received an invitation to complete an online application and was called that following Monday for an interview that following Tuesday. The interview was with the store manager and the assistant manager. The interview went very well ask the normal interview questions and some questions about my resume. They told me about the job and what it offered and I was told I would get a call or email from the district manager for a second interview. That held up and I received a call from the district manager two days later he asked me a few questions like why should they chose me over the other people applying for the job then he told me I should hear from the store by the beginning of the following week. I am still currently waiting for that call and it's the middle of the week.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Seattle, WA (took 2 days)
Started with a phone call, then moved quickly to an in store interview. I was offered the job less than a day later, but I have seen where other applicants have had to go through a 2nd round of interviews.

Negotiation Details
Was able to negotiate salary based on my experience in the field, so my advice would be sure to try and get as much as you can - don't settle for $10/hour.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in San Antonio, TX (took a day)
Once you apply to the company, you will shortly be routed to an assessment and a personality profile. If you pass the assessment and personality profile, your information will then be sent to the management of the location that you choose to apply to. You will first probably interview with the assistant manager followed by the manager and then you will be offered the position. Once accepted, you must submit to a background and drug test.

Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 3 weeks)
I applied online around the 18th of December of 2011 and was e-mailed the next day to fill a more comprehensive online application. A day after that I got a call from the HR manager to interview at the store I applied to. The interview went VERY well. It went well for two reasons.
1. I was well prepared and answered all their questions adequetly.
2. Both interviewers were female and I was very comfertable. They were very easy going.
Just FYI, I worked for AT&T fresh out of high school and for T-Mobile at 21. I am now 22. However, this is NOT to say that you can't get THIS job without any sales experience. When I got the job at AT&T I had only one job on my resume and it was KFC! The factor that confirmed my employment with AT&T was the way I spoke at the interview and the way I presented myself.
After the interview the people who interviewed me called a manager at another store, one who was looking for an employee, and told him about my interview. They told the manager that they were very impressed with my interview. The manager then called me to schedule an interview. When he called me he almost gave me the job on the spot and said that he just wanted to meet me. So I went and he gave me the forms for the background check and for the drug test. I took them the next day and he called me like 4 days later to tell me that I have the job if I wanted it and that HR will send him the offer letter by that weekend which is this Saturday.
I start this weekend.
You don't really need to research their company because they train you for that I would say that you need to work on your interview skills and sounds smart. This is easy because most of the store managers are not really educated and any type of intellectual sentence with the right wording will do - even small observations. For example, they asked something about how I would treat customers and I said, "while waiting outside before this interview I noticed that one of the monitors (the ones that play ads) said that if customers had any questions to contact "YOUR" customer representative. It said "YOUR" and not "A" because the activation is a little more personal and you want them to reccomend you to other people. You need to say things like that so they know that you pay attention to detail.

I am still waiting to be able to do that. The manager told me that I would be payed around $11-$12. I hoping to get anywhere from $11,50 to $14.00.
