Numerical Questions, Logical Questions, and Aptitude Test. The response was instantaneous and then I was give about 3 days to complete a video interview which lasted about 30 minutes or so. Video interview is actually pretty awkward so prepare before taking the actual interview. Afterwards, I waited about 4 weeks to receive an email from the HR for face-to-face interview

    Interview

The process for the internship began with online test then included two interviews; one by phone with HR and another with user. The interview with the HR took approx. 1 hour; they asked a lot of details and some random questions such as : what's your favorite color? what's your fav food? Then the user interview was very chill; but all depended on who was interviewing. After I got the internship, I was offered an interview with a division head. It was very brief; about only 15 minutes. The question was very simple : tell me the biggest challenge you've ever faced. About two weeks after the interview, I got the offer for the IG Program.

    Interview Questions

    • What's the biggest challenge you've ever faced? (It's tricky because the interviewer expected a really interesting answer to this question or else he'd say : well that's not a really big challenge, you must've experienced something bigger)   1 Answer

    Negotiation

No negotiation. They explained all the benefit package and explicitly said that there's no negotiation for the position.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ monthsinterviewed at Standard Chartered Bank in December 2014.

    Interview

I applied online and went through online aptitude tests including numerical, reasoning and personality tests. After that, I receive an invitation to video interview. The video interview basically are motivational and experience-based. And around 18 minutes for 9 questions.

1 month after, I receive a 1-1 interview invitation with HR. The HR interview lasts for around 40 minutes. Ask me to do a presentation on RMB market and then ask some situational questions. At the end the HR also taught me a better manner in an interview like posture.

1 week after, I receive a 1-1 interview invitation with the director which is supposed to be 30 minutes and as a final interview. I went to the main office in HK and wait. The interviewer is late for around 10 minutes and questions asked mainly are technical. The interviewer didn't ask any motivational questions because he/she told me every candidate is saying the same thing.

At the end, I would like to ask more questions but he/she said the interview time is out. (which is mainly because he/she is late)

1 week after, I officially receive the rejection letter.
