Interviewed May 2010 (took a day)
i was in standard chartered's graudate program and the job pool was out for recent 2-year analysts to apply for next permanent/contract roles within the bank. i applied for an fx trading role in london and the interview was quite technical. normal questions were asked like weighing and angle between clock's hour and minute hands, and then some option greeks and stuff like that.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in New York, NY (took 2 days)
I was contacted by a recruiting firm by telephone. I interviewed with the hiring manager in the compliance group who seemed to think my background and skills fit her needs. I returned a couple weeks later to meet with three other members of compliance. I was asked point blank by the group head what my current base and bonus was, which I thought was a bit disconcerting. Ultimately, their budget for the position was too low for my requirements, which was communicated to me via the recruiting firm.

Interviewed Feb 2010 (took a day)
Phone interview went well and seemed promising but never got call back for a ground interview which was arbitrary since my impression was that I was a great fit for the firm.

Interviewed Apr 2010 (took 2 days)
Initial interview was professional, subsequent interview was haphazard and disorganised. Significant divergence of summaries of the role and condition on the ground across both interviews gave an impression of poor internal communication and ivory tower syndrome

Interviewed Jan 2008 (took 4 months)
Most components were pleasant, easy going conversations focused on experience and competencies. Was an extensive personality/aptitude test conducted by a third-party that was lengthy, rigorous and formal but otherwise no odd-ball questions or anything like that from most interviewers, non-adversarial. Only negative was the time the process took, about 3 month in total, with long delays between conversations. Indicative of how long it takes to get things done.
