Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 2 weeks)
First had phone interview with HR manager. Covered basic expectations of applicant that they were looking for the fill the position. Asked basic questions regarding how I would handle certain situations involving customer or employee issues. Asked about a time that I had dealt with a difficult customer and turned the situation around to result in a positive experience. One-on-one interview with store manager and district manager. More of the same questions, and setting expectations for the person who would be placed in the position.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Silver Spring, MD (took 2 days)
I had to first apply online. At the first interview, I spoke with one of the Assistant Managers, who told me I would probably deserve to get paid moer for the amount of work I would be doing. He also proposed a scenario in which I tried to sell a computer to a woman in her dvanced years. At the second interview, I spoke with the General Manager who told me what would be expected of me as part of the sales team. He was the one who hired me, and brought me on a few weeks later.

Considering I did not have retail experience at the time, I do not think I would have had enough leverage to up my starting salary. But if someone who had lots of sales experience applied, and they needed to fill the position, they might have had a better chance of upping the theirs.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Phoenix, AZ (took a day)
Came in early, waited for the assistant manager to get my paper and sat down in the office section. Asked me situation questions. Lasted about 20 minutes. Told me to follow up in a few days. I called and said they were still interviewing and would let me know at the end of the week. Still haven't heard anything. All in all it was okay. It's easier if you're good at answering situational questions.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Framingham, MA (took a day)
Quick phone screening interview that I thought went well. Lasted about 30 minutes. She said I would hear back "soon" on next steps, but it has been a month and nothing. Was asked about past experience and was told general information about the position. I asked a few questions, but was not given real clear answers. Not sure if my salary expectations were too high or what, but thought I would hear back one way or another before now. I don't think the phone screener knew too much or understood the position. Too bad - this is a company that I really wanted to work for.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in New York, NY (took a day)
Applied online through their website. About a week later, an HR representative got in touch via email to set up a phone interview. Both parties agree on specific day and time. The phone interview last about 30 minutes. She lets you know that after reviewing your file, an email will be sent to you notifying how it went.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Dallas, TX (took a day)
Worst possible interview scenaro. I have applied at multiple locations as I am looking to relocate. I have had 1 call from a recruiter in Wooster. We had a very nice conversation and I thought did very well when she said she thought I would better serve the company by working in the Austin, Dallas area. GREAT! She said she was going to have the Area Manager call me to continue the interview process and that she would call me in no more that 48 hours. 2 weeks later nothing. Either the Recruiter lied up front or the Area Manager isnt doing her job. Either way. Not at all impressed. Very unproffesional.

Interviewed May 2010 in New York, NY (took 2 weeks)
Person who interviewed me had no clue what her company stock was trading at. lol I knew. She told me she'll find out and get back to me.. I felt I was leading the interview. She could not answer some of my questions.
FYI: She never got back to me with the answers.
