Interview Details – Was hired through agency, relatively simple process; a short questionnaire to ensure that you have minimum level of technical expertise. Following which was an interview with Starhub themselves, a group interview

I applied through a staffing agency and the process took 1 week - interviewed at StarHub in September 2009.

Interview Details – Interviewers are usually team leaders. Once in awhile, team managers will be doing the interviewer. Therefore it depends quite mostly the type of interviewer the interviewee is getting. A small written technical test will be given to check on the knowledge of the staff but usually it's not really important for certain team leaders, team manager will see this as priority though. Due to the nature of the job, interviewer tend to ask on customer service skills and maybe a little bit of the technical part.

Negotiation Details – One need to be calm and cool when working here. the type of customers one will be handling can be from friendly to horrendous. One need to know not to mix work with social life.
