I applied online and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at StarMine.
Interview Details –
Started with the standard phone screen. 2 technical questions. Nothing too difficult.
Then a coding assignment in python.
Followed by an on-site. On-site lasted for 4-5 hrs, including lunch. Interviewed with 4 different groups of people (1-3 people/group). The last group will review your code from the coding assignment.
Everyone is very nice. Questions really depends on your interviewer (finance to statistics to cs). Overall a good experience.
Interview Question – Different ways to shuffle an array (not the most difficult, but it's the only one I remember) Answer Question
Negotiation Details – No negotiation
I applied through college or university and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at StarMine in February 2012.
Interview Details – Asked me some questions about my past projects and about my resume and then some technical questions and then made me program a little bit
Interview Question – What is a hash table? When do you use one? Why would you use one? etc... Answer Question
Reason for Declining – Didn't like the job
