I arrived on time and met with the manager who was cheerful and presentable. She asked me about my work experience - none of it in a restaurant environment, unfortunately. I explained my desire to change careers from my prior mortgage loan monkey job to one with potential growth. I know. It sounded lame even as I was saying it.
