Interviewed Jan 2010 (took 1 week)
Applied on-line in evening. recieved standard e-mail from company stating they get hundreds of replies. Following day received phone call from recruiter to set up a phone interview. Had an hour long phone interview within two days. Recruiter was extremely friendly and helpful. Asked mostly situational questions and how I dealt with them. Background on previous/current jobs. At the end of the interview I was told I was being reccomended for the next level. She e-mailed me company info and called me back the next day with a date and location of my panel interview. It took place at the company offices in a nearby city. Two district managers would interview me.
I spent the next few days preparing by researching everything I could find about the company. I found alot from many sources through searches. I dressed professionally, showed up a tad early and sold myself. I came extremely prepared, with resumes, letters of reccomendation, references, and any information they may need. I was pleasantly surprised at their friendliness work when the and genuine passion for their jobs. I was asked why Starbucks, and many situational questions. Different ones from the recruiter.
At the end of the interview I was told that the next step the recruiter would contact me.
The recruiter contacted me the next morning to ask how the interview went. While on the phone with me she recieved the e-mail from the DM's about the interview. She said they definatelly wanted me and would send a background check via e-mail. It was Friday so I quickly filled it out and e-mailed it back. Monday morning I was at work when the background check company called. Tuesday morning they e-mailed to have me fax my signature for an educational institute check. Thursday morning I recieved my offer for employment.
This was a very quick process and everyone was very supportive. You can tell the company puts employees first, they all really love their jobs.
