I interviewed with someone in HR on Friday. They began by asking me if I had any questions. Then they asked me :
-Why Starcom
-Describe a situation where I had to take action/control
-A couple of math problems
-How do I use math in my daily life
-How do I get information out to people/methods and media
I am waiting to hear back from them and will update my post after that.

It took a long time due to the economy and certain parent company issues.
I had a verbal offer many months ago, however, they filled to position within so had to wait.
They are pretty organized. The interviews were not hard. You only interview with the next 2 levels. So if you are a planner. You will interview with a manager & associate director.

I was interviewed on the phone by an HR representative after she head read my application and resume. We then set up a day for me to come to the New York office where I was interviewed by 3 different people who work there. Eventually, About 6 - 8 weeks after the process started, I was told I did not get the offer.

It is multiple people mostly supervisors that are each trying to find out something about you. So one is focused on math skills, another is focused on how well you know the industry, another is focused on problem solving, and so on. Mainly it is a long day with really obvious questions.
I do remember they asked what campaign did I dislike, and why.

I was asked a few technical questions and also questions pertaining to Excel formulas and my knowledge of them. I was also asked how I thought marketing and advertising differ from one another.

Starcom was prompt to respond to my inquiry. The first round interview consisted of simple personality questions, and surprisingly easy math questions. Although I felt that it should've been more about media, it makes sense for a large company to filter possible interns through quick behavioral interviews over the phone.
