Interviewed Mar 2012 in Toronto, ON (Canada) (took 2 months)
Got a call after applying two months ago, initial interview over the phone was about expectations and fit for the job.
Arranged for an interview a week later and had a short interview with the Talent Acquisition Specialist that was on the phone before, she was pleasant to deal with and gave hints and tips on next stage of interview. This part of the interview consisted of behavioral questions.
Next interview was 30+ minutes with two managers, one of them was receptive and engaging while the other was neutral but fair. Interview consisted of mostly behavioral questions and some technical questions. In hindsight the questions were not tough at all but I was just simply not prepared to go into such depths with my solutions. I was also expecting to be asked technical questions about NAV's and such, but was asked simple credit/debit questions instead.

Interviewed Feb 2012 (took a day)
Very straightforward interview process. They sent me an email asking when I was available, I replied and an interview was set up for a few days later. When I arrived I was given two separate interviews within the span of an hour.
1. 1:1 interview with an HR representative. It was very informal, we talked about a trip I had taken a few weeks earlier, and that was followed by basic behavioural questions.
2. I met with a panel of three managers whom I would be working under. They first asked me to go through my resume. I was asked a couple technical questions based on my previous accounting experience. After that they took turns asking me more behavioural questions.

Interviewed May 2011 in Sacramento, CA (took 4+ weeks)
The initial interview was fine, just a 30 minute, 1 on 1 interview on campus. The in house interview was more extensive. It was 2.5 hrs, with 30 mins being a presentation on the company, then 2 separate 1 hour interviews with managers and others. The second hour is a repeat of the first, probably to see if they can trip you up by creating a sense of deja vu. Nothing difficult, but I did shoot myself in the foot. Probably the reason no offer was made. I've heard of an odd culture pervasive with the company, but saw nothing of it in the interview, though, the casual dress (jeans, polo shirts, and unshaven faces) was certainly interesting, given it's a bank. The back office environment probably has to do with that.
The HR rep involved was spot on though. Always communicated in advance of when they said they would. No wondering where you stood.

Interviewed Mar 2011 (took a day)
Got a call from HR and schedule an interviews with two hiring managers. It was less than half hour interview. The two hiring manager did not ask much questions regarding the job, and most of the questions were about how to handle different scenarios.

Interviewed May 2011 (took 5 weeks)
The interviewing process for me consisted of a phone screening with a talent recruiter. It was for the most part basic behavioral questions that you would see else where. Then got the call that they were wanting to meet face to face and show me around. Went there and discussed the position, company and anyother questions. The interview itself was just furthering the behavioral questions.

Negotiation Details
Not much to really negotiate on for me. It is a hard time to find a job and with little experience in the field, so very little in the way of bargaining chips.

Interviewed May 2011 in Sacramento, CA (took 4+ weeks)
Applied on the company website and was contacted for an interview 5 weeks later. The questions were very experience based, (i.e. "tell me a time when...") and rather grueling for someone with a lot of experience to sift through and determine the best example on the fly. The interview consisted of a 30 minute presentation about the company, followed by an hour long interview with two managers and another 40 minute interview with another manger. All in all it was exhausting and long.

After 2 weeks, She scheduled me for the interview with the hiring manager. She didn't ask me technical questions. She did ask me about my excel skill.

Interviewed Apr 2011 (took 3 weeks)
Beginning on campus, I interviewed with a manager. He asked me about State Street and what I knew about the company first, then followed up by asking about my resume. After that, it was all situational questions. Follow the STAR (Situation, Task, Analysis, and Result) format.
A week or so later, I was e-mailed about a second round, in-house interview. The format of the interview was two one-hour periods. The first hour I spent with a VP. He asked me a list of situational questions, along with some technical questions regarding financial securities. The second hour I spent with two managers, who tended to focus on more technical questions (finance/accounting terms) and workplace habits.
Throughout the whole process, each person carried a standard list of questions and wrote notes vigorously.
