I heard about a new store opening in my area so I went to see if I could apply online. I filled out the online application which took about 20-30 minutes. A few days later, on a Sunday night I was called by a hiring manager who told me they were holding interviews for the new store and offered me an interview for a week later. I went in for the interview and was asked a few basic questions and then I was offered a second interview with a different hiring manager for the next week. I went in for the second interview which was really easy because she pretty much offered me the job after a few minutes of sitting down. Last week I went in to fill paperwork and my orientation is tomorrow. The atmosphere was really pleasant and everyone I met during the interview process was extremely nice and helpful.

Negotiation Details
No negotiation, they start you off at a set wage with a raise after the first 30 days of employment and then after that every 6 months.

The interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, an IQ/Intelligence Test, a Skills Test and a Personality Test.

simple interview process. i was asked general retail position questions and asked about past experiences. No experience was required for the position. After a 45 min 1 on 1 interview i was told i would be contacted in 1-2 days.

there was a long self assessment evaluation online multiple choice questionnaire. I lied on every question and gave the best answer. I received a call for an opening, I said I was interested. an appointment was set up. They didn't ask me any questions!!!

Very easy interview.The hiring manager talked about what I will be doing in my job. She asked about my availability and If I wanted to work weekends and holidays.
Dress nice, bring copies of your resume and try not to be nervous. Do not lie about anything during the interview. Keep a eye to eye contact at all times and try not to look around the room.
