Customer Service Professional at Stream Global Services

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Beaverton, OR Apr 2010 – Reviewed Jan 25, 2013

Interview Details – I applied through Craigslist, and received call within 24 hours, with interview set few days later. I spoke with one male individual for interview, and so did group of twelve other people on one-on-one basis. Then we took short quit and waited in room together for conclusion. Everyone was diverse in age, gender, and appearence so nothing cookie cutter about the candidates.

Interview Question – So how did you find out about this company?   View Answer

Negotiation Details – Well, nothing really. We all waited in room until lady came in and announced we were ALL hired. So that gave me impression it was not hard to get into, but probably more challending to stay in for long term.

Technical Support Agent at Stream Global Services

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Tampa, FL Dec 2010 – Reviewed Oct 19, 2012

Interview Details – They give you a test online (which most people cheat on), then a follow up phone interview where they judge you on your voice and speaking style. They ask the same questions in the phone interview as they do online. You are then called in for an interview that includes a more detailed test. If you pass the test they conduct a background check while you are there..no worries if you have simple issues on your record just tell them so. Finally you are interviewed by one of the Supervisors. If you make it past the on-site test you are set.

Interview Question – The test is very technical concerning computers and computer systems...if you are not on top of your game don't even try.   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – There is no negotiation phase...they have a set hourly rate and do not give raises.

Interview Details – You will required to take a basic computer test consisting of approximately 10 questions including ones like, do you know what part of a blue-screen tells you what is wrong with Windows and what to do to find out if an issue is hardware or software based by looking at what has been tried by the customer before they called in.

Customer Service Professional at Stream Global Services

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Jacksonville, TX Aug 2010 – Reviewed Jul 6, 2012

Interview Details – When applying I did not get the interview right away. There is two parts to the application. One being the questionnaire part of the application, and the other is a test which will determine how well your reading and understanding is. It is not clearly stated, but you will need a Yahoo account to apply. I applied with a Gmail account and was told a needed to reapply. During the interview they took me through the building and showed me the building, it seemed a bit rushed as there was others waiting for an interview. Questions during the interview were trying to place me in a part during the phone call with a customer. I was accepted for the job and started the next week.

Interview Question – Why are you best qualified for this job?   View Answer
