Interviewed Dec 2011 in Vancouver, BC (Canada) (took 1+ week)
The owner interviewed me. My first impression was "oh ok". As I extended my hand (as a sign of respect), introducing myself to him, he said to me "I don't shake hands. Nothing personal, I just don't.". So, from there, I was like, at the back of my head, "wow, you are something".
The interview went well, I answered all his questions, he asked for references and all that stuff, but, I decided to decline the offer, because, I didn't like how the owner was, before, during and after the interview. For me, being comfortable with the owner, co-workers, etc is very important in every job I'm going to take, because those are the people you are going to spend 8-10 hours a day.

Interviewed Nov 2008 in Calgary, AB (Canada) (took 2 weeks)
It was like any interview. I was nervous going to the interview but the employer quickly made it comfortable. The employer asked me questions in which I answered to the best of my abilities. After the interview I patiently waited for a return phone call... which aventually came... I got the job.
