Very easy and laid back. The manager had a list of several questions and jotted down my responses. The questions were pretty easy,

Interviewed Mar 2011 (took a day)
I applied in February and wasn't expecting to receive a call a month later, but I went in for the interview. It was a lot more laid back than I had expected. We sat at a table and he explained how things would be if I got the job, and asked me a few questions about my previous experience, the hours I'm OK with, my work ethic, etc. He then threw out a few random interview questions for me to answer (only about 2-3 interview questions), and then told me what he wanted in an employee. He said he would interview two more people, and then call me when he decided. I never got a call so I assume he went with someone else.
I know I didn't get the job because I'm not exactly out going or friendly. I'm very shy, though I explained I'm very hardworking because of this. But I guess friendliness was more important to him than hardworking.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Fair Oaks, CA (took a day)
The interview was pretty easy. Consisted of basic interview questions. I sat one-on-one with the manager and for most of the interview, he did all of the talking. He didn't seem very interested in me, but rather used the time to inform me of the job requirements and such. The one thing that was pretty rare and caught me off guard, was that I was asked basic math questions to answer at the top of my head. Such as, what 16+17 is, and 50 minus 23.

Interviewed Feb 2009 in Walnut, CA (took a day)
I believe that the interview was held at the subway that I had applied to. The manager came out and we had a seat in the store. He began to ask me basic questions such as : "Why do you want to work at subway", " What type of experience do you have " etc. There were no hard questions and I was called a few days later about getting the job.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Saint Petersburg, FL (took 6 days)
I applied online on Wednesday, Monday morning I got a call back. We had a brief phone interview, and I was asked to come in and have a formal interview in person. The man who interviewed me wasn't very friendly, but it wasn't too terrible. He didn't ask me any tough questions, just if I had transportation to and from work, and what hours I was available. So far, I haven't been drug tested. The man asked if I could pass a drug test. He hired me on the spot, and asked me to come in tomorrow to fill out paper work. He told me once we fill out paper work, we will discuss when I will start training, then I begin my probation period.

Interviewed Jul 2010 in Albany, NY (took 1+ week)
The hiring process for me was a meeting with one Franchise owner that took about and hour, we spoke about past job experience and my degrees other then that it was mostly him getting a feel for my personality. I would like to say that there interviewing process for candidates to work in store needs alot of work.

Interviewed May 2011 in Appleton, WI (took 1+ week)
The manager sat me down, and talked to me at one of the tables at the Subway. (Not an office). I had previously interviewed at a different Subway, however, did not get the job at that one. I did get the job at this one. I was sat down at a booth, and the manager talked to me about the job, and everything that she felt that I needed to know. I think I was lucky, because she only asked me one question, and that was to tell her about myself, in which I did. I could tell she liked me from first impression.
