Interviewed Jan 2012 in Hyderabad (India) (took 3 months)
The initial communication came through the mail for the written test. This is mandatory for all type of employees who will go through the interview process. This test is very easy but very very lengthy. Some 300 to 400 questions are there. After clearing this test I faced two telephonic interviews. The standard of technical interview was very good. After that I have been invited to give face to face interview with manager. After clearing that I had a discussion with the director.
After going thru all these process I got an offer after 1 month.

Interviewed Apr 2012 (took a day)
After initial review of cv there is a short phone conversation about the online IQ test. the test is provided by http://www.tfapply.com/. The test has mathematics, vocabulary, general knowledge and IQ sections. The most limiting factor for the test is time. The total allowed time is two hours but the questions are more than 200.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Gainesville, FL (took 3 weeks)
Received a phone call from the recruiter, very friendly. Spoke about the job I applied for, received some description and general talk about the company. Set up an online or on-site IQ test. After scores were reviewed by the recruiter, I was invited to a phone interview with two managers. After completing a 30 minute phone interview between two finance managers, I was invited to an on-site interview. Airfare was paid for and I interviewed in person with the same two managers I spoke with on the phone. They were very friendly and willing to talk about the company and its culture. The facilities were clean, modern, and a place I would be proud to say I worked at. The receptionist was nice and respectful, and made you feel welcomed.

Interviewed Feb 2012 (took 2 weeks)
Was contacted by their recruiter team by phone. I was leery at first after seeing negative comments on glass door. However I spoke to recruiter and then agreed to take skills tests. After several false starts finally received test and took it. Did not hear whether I passed or failed even after several calls and emails to recruiter. Decided not place for a sales professional to work if they treated you this way during the interview process.

Interviewed Mar 2012 (took a day)
I applied online and got an email from HR asking me to attend a test ,no questions asked no phone contact nothing checking if my profile is what matches what they are looking for .Whilst doing my research on the organisation came to know the company is into HR systems etc .
Went for the online test for 3 Hours was told everyone has to go through the same asked a rep what is the relevance of a Maths test for a customer support role she had no clue and parroted that it is a test everyone has to go through .Saw a lot of folks being put through the same test ,looked around the office was sparsely populated with most desks being empty .Was not sure why so many recruitment were being done asked around no answers given.
Later on whilst going the test realised being a company into HR systems etc ask everyone to go through the testing to conduct testing on people to collect results and subsequenlty reject folks without informing what the test score was or what the passing percentage is etc .No Transparency ,I think they are trying to automate the HR process to have no Human Interface in the recruitment process and try to beta test on jobseekers

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Gainesville, FL (took 3 weeks)
This was the worst interview experience I've ever had or could imagine having! I applied online and heard from the recruiter the next day. I had a phone interview with the recruiter. This was followed by an online IQ test that had absolutely nothing to do with the job and consisted of a lot of GMAT-style word math problems and pattern recognition. After that I had two more phone interviews with a couple of the senior directors. Then I was flown to Gainesville (one day trip, no overnight) for a followup IQ test to make sure I wasn't cheating and was scheduled for two 1:1 interviews. I spent less time at SumTotal than I did on the layover in Atlanta. The two people I was scheduled to interview with were in other meetings and didn't bother coming to the interview. It was outrageous! I took a day off work and flew 2,000 miles round-trip for nothing! Everybody there seemed very stressed out. The environment was unappealing as well.

Interviewed Jan 2012 (took 1+ week)
I submitted my resume via their website and got a letter back presenting me with credentials to take an iq/personality test which took over an hour. Very intense test. Next I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. We got along well. 2 days later I received a phone call from the recruiter asking me to drive from Dallas to Fort Worth to take the iq test again, in front of a proxy. This was very inconvenient, but I followed along. After passing this, I was booked a flight from DFW to New Jersey to visit SumTotal at their offices in Parsippany, NJ. They paid for my flight, but I was responsible for all other expenses. I took the 5:20AM flight, spent $80 on a cab to get to the office, and interviewed for 2.5 hours. All they were interested in was knowing if I could manage a project to budget. Never once was the subject of quality mentioned. It was all about "how do you feel about going back to the client for more money", and similar questions. After the interview, I paid for my cab back to the airport, got back to DFW after 10pm, paid for my parking, and went home.
Since I have returned from my interview nearly 4 weeks ago, I have received zero correspondence from my contacts at SumTotal. Repeated phone messages and emails go unanswered. I am out over $200 for my one day trip. When I left there, I knew it wasn't a place i wanted to work. Their offices are in complete disarray and it seems like everyone is chasing their tail. However, them completely brushing me off after the interview confirms this is a place I would pass on again. The fact that they would ask someone unemployed to spend that kind of money and not bother to let them know how to become reimbursed tells me all I need to know about them.
