Interviewed Mar 2010 in Granite City, IL (took a day)
You turn in your resume
They then send you to test at Ranken Technical College
You are given four aptitude tests: A General, Mathematical, Spacial Relationships and Mechanical
You must score high enough on all 4 independently to receive and interview
The interview is usually three different supervisors separately so 1:1 for each
When I interviewed internally I had a group interview
Once you are offered the position they send you for a physical and drug test.
This consists of a blood test, urine test and hair sample. The physical consists of a lung strength, hearing, vision, breathalizer and a chest x-ray.
As long as you pass you get the job and start out in a Utility Operators position.
They currently start at 17.50 per hour
My interview was grilling
Others stated that they had an easy interview and it was very relaxed. So it depends on who you get.

I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview, an IQ/Intelligence Test, a Skills Test and a Drug Test.
