Interviewed Sep 2010 in Rome, GA (took 5 days)
Completed application online. Pretty standard for the industry. Was surprised there was not much to the "personality test". Received a call from HR rep a few days later. Phone interview was VERY easy. They want to hear you say "uncover needs".
Had interview at branch with manager. It was more of a "If I like you personally" interview. I felt like I got the job because the conversation went well on a personal level. He did ask a few questions about if I thought their goals were attainable.
Simple interview all things considered. Was surprised at the lack of behavioral questions.

Interviewed Aug 2010 (took 1 week)
After a phone interview, I had a1:1 interview. Recruiter was very pleasant and professional, questions were straight forward and sensible. The position I applied for was already filled and the recruiter told me that there is a similar job opening in a near by location. I was told on the spot that she wanted me to move forward to the interview with the hiring manager. One day after the interview with the manager I received an offer. Everything was fast and efficient. I was treated with dignity.

Interviewed Jul 2011 (took 3 weeks)
after online application it took almost 2 weeks to hear anything back. I figured I didn't even make the interview process. I then received a call from a recruiter who asked a lot of different personality/sales questions. When the phone interview was complete 2 days later I got the call to interview with the area manager. That interview took approximately 1 hour. I received a call about a week later with a job offer.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Charleston, SC (took 1 week)
Recruiter (phone), Hiring manager (4 days later), Area Manager (3 days later). Skill set, expectations, info about company. All very pleasant, professional, not many questions but could be because of my banking background.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Saint Petersburg, FL (took 5 days)
Initially, I received a voicemail informing me that I had missed a scheduled phone interview that morning. This was a bit confusing in that I had had no contact, phone or otherwise, with anyone from Suntrust to schedule said interview. A new phone interview was scheduled for the following Monday, and ultimately went well.
Moving on to the 1:1 interview. The Branch Manager was running 30 minutes late, and was a bit distracted during the meeting by outside forces. She needed to deal with situations in the branch throughout the interview, causing an hour long interview to be stretched into two hours. All in all, good feelings were felt upon completion, but due to so many candidates, they have not yet made a decision. I'm getting very close to considering it a wash as it has been almost 2 weeks.

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took 5 weeks)
I initially interviewed for a teller position on the phone with an HR representative. Two days later, I received a phone call to set up a face-to-face interview, which ended up being with the branch manager and assistant branch manager. A week later, I was called in for another interview, this time with the assistant branch manager and the lead teller. A few days later, I was contacted by an HR representative who told me that the teller position was mine if I wanted it, but SunTrust wanted to offer me a position as a Financial Services Representative. While it was a lengthy process, I am very pleasantly surprised that the company took the time to get to know me and my qualifications and valued my abilities to the point of offering me a better position.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Gainesville, FL (took 2 days)
I applied online, and received a phone call a few days later asking if they could schedule me for a phone interview the next day. Phone interview was pretty easy. She then called back the next day and scheduled me for a one on one interview with the bank manager.
The person interview was very relaxed and standard. They told me exactly what they would expect and answered every question I had.
I'm convinced I didn't get the job because it ended up my school schedule was going to end up conflicting a little.

Applied on-line, telephone call from hiring recruiter within 2 hours. Scheduled interview with branch manager. Good interview. Friendly Manager. Currently wating for the Area Manager to call me for an interview.
