Interviewed Feb 2008 in Toledo, OH (took 3 days)
My initial communication with the company was via email. After the email, I interviewed over the phone and finally was invited to Toledo for an in person interview. Everyone was very nice, courteous, and friendly. The office in Toledo was in the middle of nowhere. It was essentially a refinery with people walking around in blue coveralls.

Interviewed Jan 2008 in Philadelphia, PA (took 2 days)
Met with the hiring managers, they asked about my experience and what I could do for them. Pretty laid back interview. There were two of them, they wanted to know what I could offer in terms of project plan and a project outline to resolve the issue they were having. They proceeded to describe to me the history of the company and what had occurred, basically the entire history of events that lead to their need for someone to lead this project and what upper management was trying to get out of the project. Afterward, it was questions about how long I thought it would take to complete, what kind of effort, and what technology I would be using in the project. They had very little expertise in the subject matter, but were at least knowledgeable in the goals they wanted attained.

Interviewed Aug 2008 in Phila, PA (took 2 days)
Phone interview with recruiter (company employee) then 1:1 interview with future manager and two other department supervisor. Drug and background screening, Take hair sample for drug test. The interview process was one of the better that I have gone through, but word back can be lengthy; perhaps due to extensive background check. Last phase is a very thorough medical evaluation, which is repeated every year. Hey, it's a free medical check every year!
