Interviewed Jan 2012 (took 2 weeks)
The first interview was very easy. Alot of situational questions...."Tell me a time when..." This interview was all about numbers. How many cold calls and closes I made with my last employer. Example: "How many calls would you make to close a sale..." The second interview was with 2 people. It was very difficult because an on the spot presentation was expected with no time to prepare. I was simply given the product, 5 page brochure and asked to sell it like I was on a sales call. VERY nerve racking. I felt this would make or break the interview. Also, you have to kow alot about the web, internet advertising, and social media, even though the job description doesn't mention this.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in Waltham, MA (took a day)
Th interview was informal. The skill level for the positions did not seem adequate with many of the employees I spoke with not having received the skills needed to provide the client with optimal performance.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Everett, WA (took 2 days)
The interview process was relatively easy. My first phone interview was with Advantage Technical Resourcing and they just asked me few simple questions to see if I was qualified for the position. The hiring manager for SuperMedia was really nice and easy going. Just relax and tell him/her how you're valuable to the company and you won't have any trouble getting the job.

Interviewed Jul 2011 (took a day)
Was asked to role play during part of the interview. This part was the make or break for them. Basically was given 10 minutes to prep and then role play a scenario of trying to sell supermedia services to a client.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
Interviewer didn't have my information available and called me by the wrong name numerous times during the interview. They had mentioned numerous times how past employees "completely hated the job" and that their was high turnover...i understand this is done in order to weed out candidates who they feel are not up for the challenge however, i wouldn't downplay the position as much as they did. When on a first date, do you tell that person all your flaws and negative characteristics about yourself ?? I don't think so. For the simple fact people don't want to get involved with someone or some job that they will regret years later and therefore i declined the offer.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Chadds Ford, PA (took 3 months)
Initially applied online and had issues with their website. I let two weeks pass because I was not sure if I actually submitted the application. I finally applied again and the next day I get a call to schedule a phone interview. The interview itself was easy. They said I should be here from them in a few weeks. Over two months pass and I hear nothing. Finally in late June I get a call to see if I would like to come in for an interview. I all ready took another opportunity.
Overall, Supermedia came across as highly unorganized.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in DFW, TX (took 2 days)
1) Phone interview with HR
2) Phone interview with hiring manager
3) 1:1 Interviews with hiring manager, other senior managers/peers, director, and VP
The interviews went very well and I received positive feedback during the conversations but then nothing. I didn't even hear back from HR letting me know they had selected another candidate. Very unprofessional. The interview questions were directly related to the position and the facilities were very nice.

Interviewed Mar 2009 (took a day)
HR will interview you a couple of times via phone. Then send you to the local sales manager. You have to role play the customer/salesperson sales call and sell the product to the manager. Who then decides if you have the chops to do the job. Training is 3 weeks in another city.
