Interviewed Feb 2011 (took a day)
First phone interview included some logic and probability questions along with behavioral stuff. Got a second round interview, but before it was conducted they sent me an e-mail saying the position had already been filled.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in Boston, MA (took 4 weeks)
Process began with a brief interview with a junior HR person, followed by a more lengthy interview with a senior HR person (all over the phone). The process then entailed a lengthy phone interview with the senior analyst I would be reporting to where we discussed my experience and my current stock coverage responsibilities. I pitched a bunch of ideas and explained my methodology. I received a follow up assignment several days later to produce a 2 page report on an assigned company, which took me an entire Saturday to complete. The next step in the process was an in-person interview at the SIG office with the senior analyst. I felt the interview went from cordial to grilling with some bizarre questions. After that meeting, I was informed that I was not selected.
