Interviewed Jan 2009 (took 2 weeks)
It was a Good interview... Staff was very friendly and seemed knowledgable... I was introduced to the other employees in the office. Office looked clean and somewhat organized. I did not have to wait very long while waiting for the interview to start. It was a professional environment and everyone seemed to enjoy their workplace.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview.

Interviewed Feb 2011 (took 2 days)
Swank Audio Visuals operates as contractors for audio visual support in higher end properties. They are looking for clean cut, suit and tie, and professional manners over technical competence. Appearance and demeanor are key as a lot of one to one contact with clients will be required. Technical details can be taught, so minimal experience is necessary.
Show up in a suit, be confident, and focus on customer services skills. Questions vary from experience to how one deals with pressure and operational failure.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Los Angeles, CA (took 2 weeks)
I interviewed with Swank's recruiter and it seemed very positive. She sent me an electronic application to suppliment the resume and application that I sent thru monster.com. She said the regional director would call me in a day or two. Never did. She then told me that she talked to him, and he will call, again, within a few days, and to email her if he didn't. This went on for over two weeks. Finally, after contacting her yet again, she informs me that the position has been filled. Very disappointing to be strung along like that. These days, with unemployment so high, managers and recruiters need to be more sensative to prospective employees and not to give them false hope.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Atlanta, GA (took 2 months)
I had an interview set up with a Swank Employment Manager through the Career Development department at my university. I made sure to be VERY organized and present myself as if I were already working in a 5-star hospitality environment. I had 3 packets ready consisting of my resume, cover letter, previous work experience, references, and letters of recommendation for my interviewers (there was only one interviewer but i wanted to be prepared. I had just bought a new black suit, shirt, shoes, and tie along with a short new haircut. Research about the company really impresses the interviewers! I was offered a part-time position in Atlanta halfway during the interview - I couldn't believe it! She offered to be my advisor and that my name was now "in the pipeline" for the next available job. She told me to call or email anytime. My interview was Feb. 25th and it is now April 26th. I have called 15 times and emailed 10 times with zero replies. I am disappointed. Swank looks like a great company to work for and the people were so friendly. I am still hoping that they contact me eventually.
