I applied in-person and the process took a day - interviewed at Swiss Colony in August 2010.
Interview Details – I applied at Swiss Colony because it wa the only company hiring at the time. I went into their offices and filled out the application on paper, then redid the application on a computer and completed a small assessment, then it was a tour of the facility before I sat down with someone for the official interview with what I thought was a Human Resources employee but later found out it was a CSR like myself, after the interview I was told that I'd hear from them shortly and it was weeks before I heard from them. Then I was told it would be 6 weeks before I would start the position.
Interview Question – Can you please describe to me one of the most rewarding experiences you've had doing this position at another company? View Answer
Negotiation Details – There was no negotiation phase for this position. They don't offer you a chance to negotiate for a position or pay. They want bodies for the floor and if you want a full time position, forget it.
Director, Creative Services Interview (Neutral Experience; Average Interview)
The process took 3 weeks - interviewed at Swiss Colony in August 2011.
Interview Details – Intially had an interview with the HR person that went OK. She was not informed of the exact details of the postion, so was not able to answer many questions to gear up for a second interview. Second interview was with two V.P.s. I felt like I was very prepared for the interview but was blindsided by questtions that were not clearly communicated in the job description. I wish I had done more research on what the challeges were for the department through past or current employees. Was called two week later saying they were not moving forward with the interview process.
Interview Question – `What was the last time you helped implement and create a new process Answer Question
